More Art news from the Roannais. Over 70 paintings and photographs were recently displayed at the Espace Congres in Roanne in the Roannais, Rhône-Alpes during May 2009.
All these remarkable images were based on, and related to, the famous river ‘La Loire’ which runs like a spine through France.
Roanne, in the Roannais, is one of the townships, and one of the many regions of France, touched by the magic of ‘La Loire’
All these images express the different moods and interpretations of each artist and creator’s reflections of the river and its influences on the Roannais region. It is an expression of love for this beautiful part of France, and an intense adoration of its watery landscape.
